Job Summary:
Our client is a well established world class integrated healthcare communications agency in London. They have a vacancy for an Account Director who will be responsible for the management and growth of ethical and OTC accounts and deliver business solutions to clients’ brands.

Requirements:

The Account Director is to manage all aspects of designated client accounts, from initial concept to final deliverables. This includes supporting client services in the planning and development of strategic promotional / educational campaigns, managing and delegating to a multi-disciplinary team and ensuring that the content of all materials are in line with the marketing strategy.


The Account Director will be expected to interface with clients at a senior level and provide strategic input to clients’ plans as well as maintain high creative and service standards to secure organic profit growth.


P&L responsibility for own accounts.




Desirable requirements:


A thorough understanding of the full range of healthcare communications outputs and account management is desirable, as is pharmaceutical industry experience.

Team leadership and motivational skills

Good client management experience and identification of opportunities for account expansion/new business

Ability to add value to clients’ strategic thinking

Budget and account profitability skills
