Job Summary:
Medical communications agency in the London region has a vacancy for an Account Director to proactively manage designated client accounts. Our client is a well-established company specialising in ethical medical communications internationally.
Requirements:
This role entails providing strategic counsel to the clients (pharmaceutical, NHS and healthcare professionals) and using your creative vision to devise and implement unique solutions and tactics.
Develop strong relationships with key clients – obtain regular feedback and ensure the highest standards for client satisfaction, longevity of the accounts and account growth.
Lead, motivate and mentor team members.
Ensure the delivery of projects to agreed specification and quality within budget and timescale.
Maximise revenues from existing accounts and develop new accounts within existing clients as well as explore opportunities to expand existing business and contribute to business development.
Be accountable for the financial performance of own accounts/programmes.
Desirable experience:
Medical communications agency experience with a good track record of effectively managing projects within an agency environment
Ability to develop and present recommendations and proposals to new and existing clients
Ability to establish strong rapport with new and existing clients
Strong leadership and strategic skills
Science degree
