Job Summary:
Our client, a dynamic international healthcare communications agency, is seeking an experienced Account Manager and Senior Account Manager to join their team and play a key role in managing the development of materials for the recruitment of patients for clinical trials.

Requirements:

The Account Manager and Senior Account Manager will work alongside a leading global clinical research organisation with responsibility for the education and communications needs of the participating healthcare professionals, patients and key stakeholders.


Responsibilities will include:


Client liaison



  • Client liaison and development of client relationships

  • Ability to recognize and develop business growth opportunities and work in collaboration with new business functions

  • Professional communications skills – written and verbal


Programme development



  • Creative, solutions orientated approach to client programmes

  • Experience of multi-channel communications activities, preferably both health professional and general public (patients/carers), including:

    -Traditional medical education tools (HCP and patient)

    - Online and new media communications (including social networking)

    - Advertising campaigns and media outreach

    - Advocacy partnerships


Project management



  • Ability to manage multiple, large projects simultaneously, including global, multi-language and multi-region programmes

  • Ability to co-ordinate multiple team members and stakeholders to achieve project delivery (including briefing and ongoing project direction)

  • Financial acumen – budgeting, management and monitoring of financial processes for projects to ensure delivery within allocated budgets. Including vendor liaison and management


The successful candidates must be currently operating at AM/SAM level in a medical communications agency and looking for a more challenging and varied role.

Salary £30-45k negotiable depending on level of experience.
