Job Summary:
Award winning global healthcare PR agency has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Executive with ethical healthcare PR agency experience, to join their innovative and creative team. The company works with a range of blue-chip pharmaceutical companies, healthcare professionals and patient groups.
Requirements:
Account management:
Manage the day-to-day running of assigned projects and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality
Ensure regular client update or programme/project progress and manage any changes to planned activities that may occur
Assist with accurate estimating, billing, awareness of budgetary status to ensure account budget is not exceeded, and assist with project profitability
Strengthen understanding of account therapy areas and industry/environment issues pertinent to clients
Client liaison:
Maintain regular contact and ensure prompt responses to client enquiries
Attend client meetings when appropriate
Maintain awareness and understanding of current issues relating to client and product area
Demonstrate innovation and creativity beyond client ideas
Media relations:
Develop and maintain media contacts
Build and improve knowledge of UK/International media and its application to healthcare communications
Contribute to press materials and media presentations
Professional relations:
Build and maintain contact with key opinion leaders who will be of benefit to account areas of responsibility.
Previous ethical healthcare PR agency experience is required for this position as are excellent communications skills with the ability to perform under pressure and support team in all aspects of the client business. A Science or PR degree would be an advantage but is not essential.
